Hey friends,

THANK YOU ALL so much for your offers of help with Ian's music/computer meltdown.  I passed on every message and every offer to him and it made him feel better. It REALLY made a difference and helped him calm down and such last night. Jared came over tonight and he and Ian got things working again. They were able to finally get the computer to boot up and finally found the missing hard drive and all Ian's music was still there. So whewwwwwwwwwww. Jared is a super hero rock star!!!!

You're ALL my super hero rock stars.

Love you muchly.

His computer crashed today and he lost his music collection. He is spinning both Friday and Saturday this weekend. He does have some stuff burned to CD's but he needs some additional material. If anyone can help by sharing some of their music let me know and I will come by with an external hard drive and my eternal gratitude. If you are a computer whiz maybe you can help him fix his machine instead. Any help would be so appreciated.

Thanks

This dog is in need of a good home with someone who has time to be his companion. Please read the information about him and pass this on to anyone who you think may be able to help or advise. The current owner can no longer care for him as he needs due to her schedule, finances and other personal issues. If she can't find someone to take him and love him she has considered putting him to sleep.  I can't even fathom that as an option in such a situation so PLEASE PLEASE pass this on to anyone and everyone you can.

Thanks everyone.

Zackary –

Born : 8/1/00

He is a 60+ lb Staffordshire Terrier. He is a great dog and companion, but gets overstimulated easily, so too much tends to be too much. Due to that only in small controlled doses does he play well with kids and dogs. He loves to chase cats, and prairie dogs. He likes his bones and ropes, he is very loving and a great friend. I just don’t have the means to take care of him anymore either with my time or financially. He has separation anxiety so he needs someone with time on their hands, because it has gotten worse these last few months. He has had a couple surgeries (one due to a torn ACL, and one because he ate carpet and it got stuck in his belly – this is when the separation anxiety started back up again, and has gotten progressively worse over the last few months). He needs someone with the time to give him, and when that occurs he is just splendid.

For dinner tonight Ian made:

Grilled Tilapia with a tequilla lime marinade, placed on a bed of baby greens and then drizzeled with a fresh made strawberry sauce.
Asparagus steamed with salt water and olive oil blend
Sweet Red Bell Pepper, cut up and just fresh
fresh sliced strawberries for garnish

It was awesome. When I saw Ian blending up strawberries I was like...ehh...I'm not sure... it was AWESOME. And went great with both the fish and just the lettuce.

YAY.

So on Saturday Ian and I are picking up a big truck at noon and will start loading up at 1:00pm. It's later than I wanted to start but that's when we could get the truck we needed and then there's work related drama but none of that right now. Anyway, we will have everything out of here except the furniture. And we actually got most of the furniture that could fit in my SUV already over to the new place. The only "hard" task will be that we have to remove the legs from the dining room table to get it out of the house. And for that we need like 4 or 5 people lifting the glass out and sitting it aside. It's not that heavy it's just so big that unless there is good support all over it starts to bow. Anyway, then turning the table on it's side takes a few helpers too. the rest of the stuff take 2 to 3 people to move because it's large sized or awkward.

So I just wanted to find out who would still be able to help us move. We will be providing food and beverage and hopefully some lots of laughs. If there is anyone who was planning to help us and Sera then let us know that too and Sera's schedule so that we can help with her move too.

Loves to you all.

I'm so tired. I have tons of stuff to bitch about. ::sigh:: But not today. Today I am officially a new puppy owner. My boss, after relentless prodding by my co-workers and our models, followed by some long sad looks and a few tears on my part and of course a perfectly timed whine from the puppy when he wanted out of her grip and into mine, brought her to the decision to let me keep the puppy instead of taking him back today when she got to the office.

And that's all I have to say about that.....

I'm so tired. And unfortunately the current pace I am keeping with work is counter productive to the healing I currently need to shake this cough. Again... as I am every year, either in the winter or the summer.... err.. or the spring or fall, I've gotten a simple cold that lingers for a month or more as a mind scrambling cough that congers up recollections of stories of the Kentucky Coal Miners and black lung. I hate being bronchial. ::cough::

Actually it's more like ::coughcoughcoughcoughcoucoucoughghghghgcou coughcoucghcough coucoucocuc c c c c kill me now::  Andddddddd I'm spent.

Wait one more thing.... I'm going to be one of those girls who dresses up her tiny dog. But in totally cool stuff. =D

I need some people who can play extras in a bar scene. This weekend, Friday and Saturday night. After 2am. For about 2 hours. Why after 2am? Because the scene is a bar scene and being shot in a real bar so.... after it's closed. I don't know where the bar is yet but I'll have that info later tonight or in the morning. This is for the same film that I sent people to this afternoon. By the way... my talent called in to tell me they had a blast, they loved the catering and  were invited to audition for the next film that Uber does. So if anyone has aspirations of acting, this is a good chance to meet the one film studio here in town that is and will be making mainstream feature length films. And if you don't care about acting but want to be in a movie once then here's a great chance to be an extra. Oh and it's a bar fight scene. No... you won't have to fight, they have stunt people for that, but you get to be part of it. Anyway... so anyone interested, let me know today/this evening.

love yous

It’s best to get there about ten or fifteen minutes early. But, please be aware that lots of people are busy busy busy and you need to stay in a designated area and not wander about on set. Ask for ANDY when you get there and tell him you are there as an extra from Access World Talent. For your participation you will be feed while you are there and you will receive your own copy of the movie when it’s finished. While there is no pay for this, it is worth the experience and exposure.

Attire: Contemporary Casual
i.e. nice jeans, slacks, Capri pants, black pants, khaki pants, button down shirt, pullover, t-shirt, anything you might wear to the office, out to dinner on a date or to a party etc…  Nothing formal or too fancy. You are portraying everyday people. Be neat and tidy, don’t dress on overly bulky things, the camera really does add, no crazy wild patterns, no neon, nothing with obscene graphics, nothing that has a large recognizable logo. Most things have some sort of logo, that’s okay, just don’t wear the one item that’s logo is emblazoned in giant letters all over the garment. Ladies, wear nice natural makeup, nothing to crazy. Same thing goes for hair. They are looking for a variety of people and different looks so at the same time, be yourself. Dress how you feel you are most happy and confident and well, what makes you feel like you look like a million bucks. As long as there are no sequins or glitter you should be good. =)

Most of all, have a good time. Keep me posted on how the experience was for you.

Hey people who know stuff about downtown.... which is pretty much everyone but me.

I have a lunch meeting with a business on Sherman St. in Denver and I need to find a decent downtown area restaurant... that also has wireless access. Any suggestions??

****EDIT****

Nevermind. I picked Steubens on 17th street. As luck would have it, the person I'm meeting loves the place. It;s one of his favorites.

Hey everyone - As I am just one of many of us who are struggling to find a viable job that will allow us to live as humans instead some sub species, I thought this would be helpful. I'm going. I have never gone to a job fair before, so you know, I have no idea if these things work or are helpful or what but hey.... I guess they wouldn't have them if they didn't do something for someone out there. So anyway, I'm going, maybe I'll see some fellow job seekers there!? I'll let you know if it was helpful or if thru going there I somehow garner some secrets of job hunting. Good luck everyone.

I have about two weeks to find a job or I'm moving back to Los Angeles. ::sigh:: I hate this more than anything I have ever had to deal with. Probably. I was contacted by J. Kent Staffing before the holidays and I was really excited. I called back the woman who called me and she was not helpful, not friendly and very discouraging. She's like... I'll call you if anything comes along. But it was the way she put down my resume and how it's formatted... ::sigh:: She was a total jerk. the other temp agency I signed up with doesn't have anything right now. I'm looking for more temp agencies. I'm going on company websites and looking at their job postings. I don't even know what more to do. I don't want to go back to LA really but I'm finally at the end of the rope. I've tied so many damn knots in it just to hang on. It's getting down to the apply at McDonalds stage now. Not that I have a problem with McDonalds. Well, besides that they are poisoning us and overfeeding us. But whatever, I mean come on, McDonalds... I can't do that. And I actually CANT do that. I mean, oh I suppose some manager would hire me but I have never worked in the fast food industry.

I don't really have anything to add on the plus side of things. I'm alive,  that's a plus. Until you figure in my food and upkeep. Then I'm just a debit. I can't believe all the roads I've walked have led me to the state of delinquency. BAH

It's not just a new year for me today. I really feel like it's a new life for me as well.  More on that later but for now I am trying to figure out where to start on the New Years Eve tale of adventure.

I had a fabulous time seeing Die Bruke play. Again they totally delivered. I love the energy they have and the connection they make with the audience. When they start playing they so move past being friends who have a band that I'm seeing. They just become a great fucking band period. I highly recommend seeing them next time they play if you haven't already.  Anyway, great time at the club. Good friends, good music, lots of dancing.  =)

We got home at almost 3am with 11 house guests in tow. Which of course meant more great conversation, laughs aplenty, a few pranks, a full moon (ROTFLMAO), 3 less bottles of wine in the world (not to bad for 13 people actually) and the oddest breakfast I've had in a long time. I say it was odd only because due to my issue with experation dates and not really like... checking them, we were left with fruity pebbles, mozzarella sticks, Asian spring rolls that looked like taquitos and potatoes and apple blossoms.  It was a hilarious adventure and quite tasty.  Next year I'm hiring a caterer.  Oh and some cots! I felt so bad trying to find comfortable places to sleep for 13 people with only one bed and one missing aero bed in the house. But luckily most everyone was bendy and exhausted so chairs, couches, the bean bag chair and the floor worked. I think everyone was more concerned with just getting some rest and food before driving home and didn't mind having to scrunch up. Everyone snores by the way. =)

My knight in shining armor is back with hamburgers. I'm eating and sleeping until Thursday. I had the best new years eve I've had in a long long time. And YAY, no hangover for me. I much prefer the way we celebrated after the club. A bunch of friends telling stories and jokes and having laughs.... and looking at the white white moon. =)

I feel terrific. But tired as hell. And totally loving my hamburger.

Happy New Year everyone.
Loves.

I'm sorry. I've been completely out of touch with everyone. I am currently focused on finding a career here or elsewhere if it's not meant to be here in Denver. It's not going well at all so I am also trying to figure out what to do next and if it should even be here in Denver.  So, I'm sorry. No club nights, no lunch, no parties, no events, no concerts, no shopping, no movies. Not only can I not afford anything right now, I can't really focus on anything else right now.  I can't do much of anything until I get some shit sorted out with my future.

It's my journal so I'm just gonna say it...

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST

I want to say okay... whatawedo whatawedo whatawedo.... WHAT? And to WHO? Like we're supposed to just say or do nothing???!!!! No fucking way. But like WHAT do we the people have as options at this moment? Nothing is what we'll fucking get. No voice, no nothing. Some lame ass excuses for sure. Well I think we need to fire someone. I think we've earned that right. I think everyone involved in this from the pilot to the ground crew to... oh oh... how about the numbnut who like.... keeps the nuclear uggies locked up in some storage unit?? Doesn't anyone have a clipboard with a list of do's and dont's on it?? Like ummm... don't start a nuclear was by MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean dude... who was the guy with the wrench in the first place??!!

I am disgusted. I want to be a Canadian. What... to close. I'm Aussie bound. I'm telling you... it's going to soon be the only safe zone around. The only place not physically connected to some other fucking fucktard place that's one dumb ass move away from blitzing itself and it's neighbors. Besides, before people thought kangaroos and koala bears were cute Australia was just a place to dump prisoners. God. That's what it's going to come to. Breaking into jail to get out of hell. I want a get out of hell free card damnit.

I have zero fucking faith in this whole god damn shit storm we call a government.

Thanks [info]e_morgan for posting this.
